little water bug

he seriously could live in the water ! i think its where he is his happiest . we had a super great day swimming with friends , working on walking , clapping , and waving big day !! and little man is exhausted

late spring cleaning

cleaning is great , i love when my cluttered house feels less chaotic , im thinking of redecorating my bedroom , here are some photos , of my tiny room as well as my new harlequin girl paintings , they are the 3 newest in a set of about 20 or so that i own and love . also i am in the progress of starting a photo wall for olivers run . i took the art from a book called the little hoot , as well as about 10 vintage frames i plan to spray paint white and hang them to tell a story . its the sweetest book ever about a baby owl that wants to go to bed early like his friends , but has to stay up all night long cause hes an owl ! love it

he is a natural and so at home in the water , he dog paddles like a champ and even learned to hold his breathe and put his head under the water ! so fun , although i am scarred forever after trying to muster the courage to dunk him . all turned out well !!!!

oliver just started eatting these carrot biscuits which he adores even though im not quit sure how much of it he is eatting and how much he is wearing

take it back

ever do something that after months and months of dwelling on it , makes you feel ashamed ? this is a totally new thing for me , feeling guilty about other peoples feeling far after the fact . its not that im cold and callus , ...... well yeah it is that im cold and callus, but somethings changed . recently ive been finding myself apologizing to people for things i did months even years ago . "cleaning the slate" i dont know if motherhood has slowly made me a better person , or if im growing a conscious (can you do that at 28) but either way im feeling miserable . being so carful how i speak to people . i even cried the other day because someone hurt MY feelings . im sure that this sounds nuts to most people that would read this but im honestly having a hard time dealing with feeling guilty for my actions . and nervous about people accepting my apologies . ugh .

Back To Basics

this is my hair inspiration , im so over having blonde hair ,cant deal with black again , and cant afford to go get my roots done every 6 weeks , so its back to basics back to brown !!!

Olivers 1st birthday party planning !!!

so oliver is going to be 1 year old in about 9 weeks , although this is exciting it is also depressing , and now stressful , because i have to plan the perfect party , for children of all ages hahaha . i think we are going to do an old fashion picnic / cookies and milk themed party . with a variety of cookie treats and flavored milk. but im torn....... alot of these parties on the event websites have HUGE budgets , i do not ..... any ideas ? husband doesnt want to go to "theme" ish
